Things are starting to get a little more exciting around the house lately. Nicole is coming home for good soon and Super Summer is next week. I have to admit, I have been a little lazy lately. But, It has been boring around here. Too rainy to go to the pool! ugg! My cousins and Aunt and Uncle are coming over later tonight. That might be fun. Me and my sister cleaned today so that they wouldn't think we were total slobs, and I am tired. Like the new xanga? The top quote thingy: Les fleurs sont tres belles, in french, means 'the flowers are beautiful' for those of you who don't know french. See ya!

Still boring. Pools are open and it's a little better, but still boring. I went to Washington D.C. and it was full of drama, well, a little bit. There's a guy who I think has a crush on me and then there's a guy that I now have a crush on (My closest buds know who that is...). Enough said. But, it was fun. It was so cool to be just an inch away from the declaration of independence! I also went to Mount Vernon, George Washington's crib. He painted it in like, this really ugly neon green. eww. But, It was cool to touch the original bannister that George Washington and all his guests have touched. It sounds geeky but I was kinda starstruck when we went to these places. I also stayed the night at Abbie's house and that was fun. But, the days where I have nothing to do during the day, like today. It was rainy and the Millers couldn't come over (Millers=neighbors) so I had nothing to do.

IT'S SUMMER!!! Yay! Finally, days upon days of... boredom. Nicole is here now so it's not so bad, but it's boring. It'll definetly get better once the pools open up and I can bike up there and go swimming, but now it's just sitting and watching TV. Anyone who reads this who knows my phone number, PLEASE!!! Help save a teenager from her own boredom!!!

I just got back from a meeting about the D.C. school trip... Ya know... Use the buddy system, obey the teachers and all that jazz.  BORING!!! Anyway, we got a 2+ at Worlds of Fun (.5% away from a one! ). My sister was home all week last week and now it starts to hit me that she won't be here this summer and I feel bummed. I think of all the fun stuff we used to do during summer. Go to Lawrence just because we wanted some Potato Oles (We have a Taco John's in our town now! Yay!), The Nelson-Atkins, and various other day trips and excursions. Without her as my Chauffer, what will I do? LOL! But seriously, I will miss her and be totally bored all summer. But, I also see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a long way off, but next school year, she'll be student teaching at Indian Creek! I just know that she'll be one of the best teachers ever! I also can't wait for Thursday. Abbie is going to stay over and we're going to THE VERY FIRST SHOWING OF PIRATES 3!!! It's gonna be awesome!!! Also, not to mention there are only TWO MORE HALF DAYS LEFT OF SCHOOL!!!! Yay! I'm so excited!! See you all later!!!
